Vicente Luy

Subo a besos por su sangre,
cuento los días.
Ella abre un paquete de Merengadas;
ella comemos.
El sur vuelve lleno de camarones
y aire de los Aguirre.
Y todos sudan:
la madre, el padre y el pingüino.
Ella suda.
Ella se vuelve clítoris,
y yo también

RELOJ

Dama pequeñísima
moradora en el corazón de un pájaro
sale al alba a pronunciar una sílaba

Horacio Fiebelkorn

Todavía

Todavía está por responder una pregunta
hecha dos décadas atrás, que lo dejó
paralizado.

Horacio Fiebelkorn (La Plata, 1958)

At that hour when all things have repose

Chamber music, At that hour when all things have repose
At that hour when all things have repose,
O lonely watcher of the skies,
Do you hear the night wind and the sighs
Of harps playing unto Love to unclose
The pale gates of sunrise?

When all things repose, do you alone
Awake to hear the sweet harps play
To Love before him on his way,
And the night wind answering in antiphon
Till night is overgone?

Play on, invisible harps, unto Love,
Whose way in heaven is aglow
At that hour when soft lights come and go,
Soft sweet music in the air above
And in the earth below.

James Joyce (Dublin, 1882 – Zürich 1941)

Bajó un satélite
se detuvo a mi lado
y me llevó por su órbita.

Volamos a la intemperie bajo furiosas tormentas
y nubes espesas, pero etéreas.
Transparentes. De papel.

Algunos años permanecimos así.
Tejíamos tibia la senda
por la que nos deslizábamos.

A veces perdíamos pie sobre la superficie.
Si él no estaba no funcionaba.
Juntos terminábamos por remontarnos
alto y triunfalmente.

Así sujetada podía flotar.

Umbral

Me despierto.
El ambiente
se pone en reconocimiento
de los poros
de mi superficie.

Si es un buen día
comienzo esa mañana
con apenas un vago recuerdo
en la fe de ayer.

Si era de los otros días
evocando sin saberlo
el estigma
el todo sabor alienante y amargo
embriagador

esa otra dimensión
paralela
plano inclinado
tajo
accidente
falta de gravedad
constante.

Maya Angelou

Still I rise

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may tread me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops.
Weakened by my soulful cries.

Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
'Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin' in my own back yard.

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise.

Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?

Out of the huts of history's shame
I rise
Up from a past that's rooted in pain
I rise
I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that's wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise.

Winds of May that dance on the sea

Chamber music, Winds of May,that dance on the sea

Winds of May, that dance on the sea,
Dancing a ring-around in glee
From furrow to furrow, while overhead
The foam flies up to be garlanded,
In silvery arches spanning the air,
Saw you my true love anywhere?
Welladay! Welladay!
For the winds of May!
Love is unhappy when love is away!

To sleep

O soft embalmer of the still midnight,
Shutting, with careful fingers and benign,
Our gloom-pleas'd eyes, embower'd from the light,
      Enshaded in forgetfulness divine:
O soothest Sleep! if so it please thee, close
In midst of this thine hymn my willing eyes,
Or wait the "Amen," ere thy poppy throws
Around my bed its lulling charities.
Then save me, or the passed day will shine
Upon my pillow, breeding many woes,—
Save me from curious Conscience, that still lords
Its strength for darkness, burrowing like a mole;
Turn the key deftly in the oiled wards,
And seal the hushed Casket of my Soul.

      John Keats ( Londres 1725- Roma 1821)

Envueltos en la sombra de un celestial olvido;
A alumbrar mi almohada, engendrando aflicciones;
De la conciencia líbrame, que impone, inquisitiva,
Su voluntad en lo oscuro, hurgando como un topo;

envueltos en la penumbra de un olvido celestial;
a alumbrar mi almohada, engendrando aflicciones;
de la conciencia líbrame, que impone, inquisitiva,
su voluntad en lo oscuro, hurgando como un topo;
